About the role:
This position primarily focuses on managing and maintaining relationships with channel partners to drive sales and revenue growth. As a senior channel account manager, your primary responsibility is to develop and execute strategic plans to maximise the performance of channel partners and meet sales targets. You will work closely with the partners to understand their business goals, align them with the company’s objectives, and build strong, mutually beneficial relationships. You will be the main point of contact for all escalations from your allocated partners. To excel in this role, a senior channel account manager should possess strong sales and relationship-building skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the company’s products, market, and industry. They should also be highly organised, goal-oriented, and able to multitask effectively while managing multiple channel partner relationships. Overall, a senior channel account manager plays a vital role in driving sales growth through effective channel management, building successful partnerships, and ensuring the company’s products reach the market efficiently and effectively.

What you will do:
● Channel Partner Relationship Management: Building and nurturing strong relationships with channel partners, including regular communication, addressing concerns, providing support, and ensuring partner satisfaction.
● Sales and Revenue Generation: Collaborating with channel partners to create and execute sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth through effective channel management. Assist your partners with product demonstrations.
● Channel Enablement: Providing necessary training, resources, and support to channel partners to enhance their product knowledge, sales capabilities, and overall performance.
● Business Planning and Execution: Developing and implementing strategic business plans, setting sales targets, forecasting sales volumes, and monitoring channel partner performance against goals.
● Marketing and Promotions: Collaborating with marketing teams to develop channel-specific marketing programs, campaigns, and promotions to increase product visibility and drive demand.
● Performance Analysis and Reporting: Tracking and analysing channel partner performance, evaluating sales data, identifying trends, and providing regular reports to management with actionable insights for continuous improvement.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams such as support, marketing, product management, and operations to ensure effective coordination and alignment of channel strategies and activities.
● Market and Competitive Analysis: Monitoring market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends that can impact channel partner success.
● Prospecting, researching and connecting with new potential partners.

● Collaborative and Cross-Functional Skills: As a senior channel account manager, you’ll work with various internal teams such as support, marketing, product management, and operations. Collaboration, teamwork, and effective communication across departments are crucial to align strategies, share knowledge, and ensure smooth execution of channel programs.
● Industry and Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of the industry and market in which your company operates is important. ● Travel: Must be willing to travel to once a month, nationally.
